How old do you have to be to go bow hunting by urself and take the course.?

I want to get my bow lisence in NY and i want to know how old you have to be. i am 12 and my friend said 12 so im guessing 12 but he may be wrong.

You are old enough at 12 to hunt, but if you go to the link below you can read the details and know the regulations as they are stated in the NY hunting guide.
