Hunting IS a form of conservation....as wildlife management. I am not going to go into details..you should do some more research...but hunting saves more wildlife than it kills.Write on conservation of environment with regard to banning hunting?
Conservation is a very inexact art. Most nations are just now trying to regain the natural heritage that made them nice places to live to begin with.
It is important to deal with nature on a modern and scientifically balanced format. We have to repair hundreds of years of ignorance and neglect as well as clean up polluted air and water.
Hunters pay to keep much of our countries natural habitats in pristine condition. Unfortunately, many apex predators have been eliminated in much of North America. These predators must be replaced by responsible hunters and fishermen. Without hunters deer, elk, and boar would quickly overpopulate their habitat and begin starving in mass numbers.
We need solutions to the problems of Zebra Muscles, and Snake head fish, to name only two. Without hunting and fishing we wouldn't know what conditions are affecting wildlife.
If you consider the banning of hunting to be related to conservation, you have no idea of what conservation is. As I suspect that you are doing this for a class, I think that you'd better learn ASAP. Conservation does not necessarily mean preservation and it certainly does not mean letting things get out of balance.
Hunting is not going to be ';banned'; because people like you don't like it. The sales of hunting licenses is up nationwide, and now women are getting into hunting as well. Hunting is a tradition in this country, and it is here to stay. I love the Second Amendment. I love firearms and hunting. My wife likes it. I have mounted deer on the wall. I believe hunting shouldn't be banned. People hunt for many reasons- primarily because the meat is likely not to have steroids in it. As long as people don't treat it like a game, I have no problem with it. I do not approve of people who shoot a bear and hold its head up to take a victory photo like some trophy. That's just disrespectful on your part.
As long as you don't waste the meat, hunting shouldn't be something disliked. If you poach, I hope you get prison time.
As a hunter I can tell you, I and every other hunter most likely contribute more to conservation then you do. Educate yourself more before asking such questions and you wont end up looking like a fool (like you do now)

Unless and until animals are diseased and cannot be treated or there is no other alternative only then they should be hunted down.
Hunting a maneater should be a last resort if all attempts have failed. Besides ';IF WE CANNOT GIVE LIFE TO SOMEONE , HOW CAN WE TAKE A LIFE OF SOMEONE ';
Humans don't need to hunt animals, animals have their own hunters i.e carnivorous animals.
Also because we are no longer stone age people who need to hunt for food.
It is also a fact that we will not die if we don't eat meat.
There are so many alternatives to meat. It is all about what the tongue wants. The tongue here in case is addicted to meat.
Meat itself is not good for health as it causes lots of diseases especially bush meat.

Hunting is more harmful when people tend to hunt for leisure or trophies.
Hunting has also become commercialized like that of fishes, whales etc which is causing their population to decline. Do these hunters think that what will they hunt when all are gone ?

The areas where a certain animals species has increased is because of the hunting of their predators which is the result of over hunting of their predators etc.
There are always alternatives to handle the excess population of animals in certain area like giving them to zoos which don't have them, relocate them where they are less in numbers or give them to zoos who require meat for their animals etc. etc.
My comments will not appeal to many but i think hunting be it for leisure, food, medicines, skin etc. has taken a Toll on so many species - DO WE STILL NEED TO HUNT ??
