Do you need a liscense for a bow im not talking about hunting just owning?

i want to know also do you need anything to go to archery ranges or whatever you call them i live in the U.S.ADo you need a liscense for a bow im not talking about hunting just owning?
Nope no license needed, as for the range you just show up, that is if it's a public range. Some private ranges will require you to be a member before you can shoot. If you still need to find a range, head on to www.usarchery.org and do a search under Directory Search.

Oh here's another thing. Some ranges in the US have beginner equipments for you to use. If you're lucky to have one of these ranges nearby, usually all you need to do is show up during certain hours to first take a safety course, then you can use their equipment. Some ranges might charge a fee for it, some like ours do not.Do you need a liscense for a bow im not talking about hunting just owning?
No, I live in Canada, but the laws on that are more strict here than the US and when we got 2 my dad didn't need to show his gun license, hunting licence, or ID of any kind, its like buying chewing gum.
Nope. Sorry about the Canada situation, tho!
