Can i use a pellet gun when squirrel hunting?

in Tennessee? i'm going there this summer and i want to go hunting.Can i use a pellet gun when squirrel hunting?

So yes, you can use an air rifle to hunt small game animals in Tennessee. However you'll have to wait to hunt squirrel until the 4th Saturday in August when the season opens.
