How much does the cheapest deer hunting rifle cost a what is the name of it?

Mosin Nagant surplus rifle, roughly $100How much does the cheapest deer hunting rifle cost a what is the name of it?
Bolt action:

Mosin Nagant rifle (any of them) - as cheap as $50. generally $69 to $79.

Not more than $170.

They shoot 7.62x54mmr, which regular ammo is perfectly capable of taking a deer. the 91/30 is the most accurate of them all, but limit your shots to 500 yards at most.

Lever action:

30-30 rifle (not sure who makes it, its a short list anyways)

About $300

30-30 rifle ammo is about $15 per 20 rounds. you should buy hunting ammo (SP or HP) to shoot deer with. Limit your shots to 300 yards.

semiautomatic

Norinco SKS as cheap as $180 and generally $225.

its called the ';poor man's deer rifle'; for a reason.

7.62x39 is cheap and plentiful. regular military ball can take a deer, but its probably better to use HP or SP ammo instead. its also available in bulk cheap. Limit the shots to 200 yards at most. How much does the cheapest deer hunting rifle cost a what is the name of it?
Mosin Nagant M44.

I would keep your shots under 300 yards... accuracy might not hold up farther than that on a rack-grade model.

They are about $70 if you shop around. Easy to find for $110.

Plenty of lethality from the cartridge... and specialized hunting loads are available, in addition to military ball.

Pretty much the cheapest rifle out there with the ability to take down things like deer.
I actually saw a .303 british enfield in a gun shop here for $999.00. If you look around at used guns you can probably find something serviceable for a little $ but I wouldn't buy a used gun if you are inexperienced with weapons bring someone who knows the ropes with you. Times have changed with the political environment now guns are selling fast. I wouldn't use mine on deer, but I have heard people call the SKS the poor mans deer rifle. 7.62X39 cal. cheap gun ,cheap ammo. don't know where you're going to hunt -some states don't allow big game hunting with auto loaders. When I was a kid hunting in Penna. most of the old farmers carried a single barrel shotgun cheap effective
The cheapest deer rifle that you would want to own is called ';the used rifle';. They can be purchased at pawn shops, gun shops, and sometimes at rumage sales and often cost less than $100.

Even cheaper yet is the rifle that has been given to you by a friend or relative as a gift. Although free, they are acually priceless and often called an ';heirloom';.
It would be the 303 British Rifle that sells for about $70
It's still possible to find a crack-head with an Arisaka, SMLE, or Mosin-Nagant he'll sell you for the price of a rock. Some of them are even the rightful owners.
whatever kind of deal you can get at a gun show. There are so many choices though, and when it comes to rifles it's worth spending a little extra money.
The Mosin Nagant it is about $70 but I would not get a rifle under $400.
you can find rifles starting at $100 the name i cant tell you sorry. but go to walmart Savages, Remingtons
You don't want the cheapest rifle.
Rossi is the name Brand.* Or New England Firearms is the other NEF.*
