Is there a regulation on how many rounds you can have in your rifle when hunting big game in Oregon?

Short answer: it depends. If you're using a semi-auto, yes; anything else, no.

Read the hunting regs:

';Semiautomatic [centerfire] rifles with a magazine capacity greater than five cartridges prohibited (except for western gray squirrel).';

Also related is you can carry any firearm, but Oregon can specify which type of firearm is legal to shoot an animal with: http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/Info鈥?/a>Is there a regulation on how many rounds you can have in your rifle when hunting big game in Oregon?
