If you're in the U.K the most powerful air rifle you can own without a F.A.C is 12 ft.lb . But considering you only need 10 ft.lb to take out a bunny cleanly at 25 yards power becomes irrelevant , practise getting groups of 10 in a 1 inch circle at this distance.


Think about saving up a bit more money and buying a pre charged pneumatic they don't have any recoil so may be a bit easier , and they are more consistent .

I use a .177 GAMO Big Cat 1200 and it works just fine if your a good shot.
