Slaying is obviously kiling, but to capture, you need tranq bombs or arrows/bullets but only gunners can use that blademasters well have to use the tranq bomb, which can be made by sleep herb+parashroom + bomb material and you will have to use a shock trap or pitfall trap which a shock trap can be made with genprey fangs 2 and trap box and a pitfall net and trap box, a net is also made with spider web and ivy, and now the difference between the two is a capture quest though you will miss out on carves you get more materials, but i advise slaying cause most the rare items can only be carved.Monster hunter freedom unite difference in hunting and slaying?
Slaying is to kill. you cannot put it in a pitfall trap and tranq it. you have to uterly and completely beat the living **** out of it XD





Hunting is either capturing it (which i stated above how to do) or to kill it.
