What states outlaw using rifles for deer hunting? ?

I know that Connecticut only allows people to hunt with shot gun slugs or archery. Does anybody know any other states where they don't allow rifle hunting? What states outlaw using rifles for deer hunting? ?
Sometimes it isn't a state regulation..... In some states its legal to use rifle but there may be counties in that state that wont allow it..... Here where I am there are about 6 counties that don't allow rifle.... They are shotgun only.... But the rest of the state rifle is ok....What states outlaw using rifles for deer hunting? ?
Illinois does not allow the use of a rifle for deer. You can use a muzzle loading black powder rifle, shotgun with either smooth bore or rifled bore 20 Gage and higher. Or you can use a handgun for the last season, caliber .357 and up but no auto pistols.

With a doctors certificate you can use a crossbow during bow season. Have to prove you aren't physically able to draw a full bow.

Baiting closer than 30 days to season is also illegal.
I understand that Illinois does not allow rifles. Michigan; the bottom half of the Lower Peninsula that does not allow rifles either... it is not so much of outlawing it is just that do to population of humans that prevents use.
you cannot hunt deer in Ohio with a rifle; slug gun, archery, muzzle loader, or handgun larger then .357 only.

the last time I looked, KY allows rifles.

OH says that a rifle shot can carry for miles while a slug will not.
It goes by county in New York. Where I hunt in NY I use a rifle. Some of my friends hunt in places that they must use a shotgun. I hope with enough answers you can compile them to answer your full question.
California outlaws Hunting rifles I know for a fact, and I think that New Jersey does too, and thats all I've heard about the states that ban hunting rifles.
Any place that has continuous flat terrain and a higher population of people. A lot of the Midwestern States don't allow rifle hunting unless on private land or hunting lodges.
you can not use a rifle in Indiana unless it is chambered for a pistol caliber
Ohio does not allow rifles for deer hunting either.
I would actually be very interested to know this.
Can't hunt deer in NJ with a rifle.
well, the only state i know of is Illinois. but i will look it up for ya.
Thats so stupid...come up to Canada and do some real hunting! lol
