Well... if you've been convicted of a felony, or domestic violence... hell, pretty much any violent crime, you can almost surely kiss your right to own a firearm goodbye. It depends on your state though.

You can get a bow, or anything else that's not considered an explosive or a firearm. If you've been convicted of domestic violence can you obtain a hunting license for a bow or firearm since your?
No modern firearms.

You can obtain compound bows, crossbows, and black powder firearms LEGALLY though.

You might be eligable to obtain a C%26amp;R firearm, since they are considered antiques.

State laws are different on what they consider a ';firearm';.

Like i said, you can probably buy some classic firearms that use modern cartridge ammunition.

You could definately buy a black powder revolver or rifle.....100% sure.
Well you can get a hunting license and tags but when it comes to a gun your out of luck. Domestic violenece misdemeanors are treated the same as a felony and stay on your permanent rercord until it is expunged in court. And for those, unlike a felony I don't know if you can do that.

So your going to have to bowhunt.
Bow yes, gun no -- at least, not until/unless you convince the Federal government (and your State government, too) that you should be allowed to own a gun.

Good luck with that. You're gonna need a lot of luck, too......
once convicted of dv you can not have gun in your possession you might get your hunting license but want be able to hunt at least with a gun are thats how it is in ks
should of thought of that before you got charged with domestic violence.
Hunters R serial killers
Sorry pal, no more guns for you - ever!
